Because single-tabbed docks are an anomoly hiding the tab is not likely to be an option. How would a user switch tabs if the tabs were hidden?

Fences has snapshots that can be reloaded if things get "wonky".

Tiles stores it's settign in the registry. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Tiles\Tiles.ini specifically. You could run somethign like this from the command line to export it: REGEDIT /E c:\ path \TilesSetup.REG "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Tiles\Tiles.in" REGEDIT c:\ path \TilesSetup.REG would add it back.

During post analysis of ObjectDock1 it was found that while many people liked drag and drop file launching, it was confusing for even more people. Support has spoken with the developers and having an option is on a list for possible future enhancements
