Same problem. Fences .99 update stopped all fences from working anymore. Old beta expired so I guess we're SOL now. XP Pro, SP2. Jim BTW, I've already rebooted twice since installing... didn't help.

Impulse? What's that? Another SDC-type program? I just want ObjectDock Plus - I shouldn’t have to install another program just to be able to download ObjectDock Plus! If I were actively running Object Desktop, maybe it would be worth it, but not just for ObjectDock Plus. Do you mean to say that there is no download available for ObjectDock Plus? Jim

I don’t have a current subscription to Object Desktop but I shouldn’t need that to use ObjectDock Plus. However I wnet to the download page and only the free version can be downloaded there. There is a link for registered users that says "To download the Enhanced version CLICK HERE, but it is a dead link that takes you to the site map and tells me that the page doesn’t exist. I reinstalled Windows XP Pro a few months ago but haven't re-installed ObjectDock Plus. Prev

I ran SDC for a couple of years and then last year after one particular update it seemed to always take a good chunk of CPU and rarely let it go. After trying to troubleshoot for a while, I just took it out of my Startup config and would only start it once in a while to check for updates. However today is a good example of why I am reluctant to let it run: I wanted to check for updates, renewals due, etc. and started up SDC. It immediately updated to the latest SDC version and then aske

Well, since I never had it crash when installing an IP Theme before, I guess it wasn't running as a separate process then. But it apparently is now! The dialog asked me if I wanted to change it back and not have it run as a separate process - I selected No, meaning leave it as is, and it crashed very shortly thereafter. I figured instead of making a change like that on the fly just because the IP Theme was asking me to was not a good reason to change it. I'd rather investigate it first and then

I just downloaded an Icon Packager Christmas Theme and loaded them. Right after I clicked on "Apply", a dialog appeared that said something very similar to "Explorer.exe is currently setup as a separate process. Would you like to change that now?" and offered OK and Cancel buttons. Being unsure of what this was exactly, and figuring I could look into it and always change it later, I clicked on Cancel. Of course less than 10 minutes later, explorer.exe crashed and I had to restart my PC.

Under the serial number is a empty space. Click the Update button next to it and it'll be poulated with your expiration date. That worked! It is pretty well hidden, though. Not sure why. Although as I posted earlier, I just did update OD when I got that popup. The WC browser doesn't have that same dialog like SDC. The "About" screen does

In Stardock Central go to tools, then "register products". It should tell you the expiration dates there. I don't see it. The dialog only has the following items on it: * Product * Email * Serial Number * Installation Path No dates there. I would post a copy of the dialog box but there doesn't

Well part of my question has been answered: shortly after posting this I went back to SD and a popup appeared stating that my OD subscription would expire in about four weeks and asked if I wanted to renew. Weird how that worked out. I did notice a problem with that popup though. I clicked "Yes" and it brought me to the Stardock Store with a full-price subscription in the cart. So I closed that page and opened another and searched for Object Desktop Renewal, which brought me to a link i

Hi folks. Dumb question here - how do I find out when my subscriptions expire? I have active subs to both OD and WC, but I presently don't have access to my email receipts, at least not right now. This is my first year with the WC Browser subscription, but I've had the OD sub for a few years now. I just sent for the serial number retrieval and received that email a couple of minutes ago, but that just tells me the actual serial numbers. Not the expiration dates - which is what I was loo

Hi folks. This is my first time at the new site. I hadn't had SD Central open for quite a while as using many OD apps on this notebook usually slows it down to almost nothing. But I wanted to download some new wallpaper so I at first opened the WinCustomize browser. While trying to look at the Wallpaper library the WC browser slowed the PC down to the point that I had to End Task to try and stop it. That didn't work, so I opened Process Explorer and saw that even with WC Browse
