Quoting c242, reply 26This mess with selling Impulse, then letting it discontinue Object Desktop support and having NOTHING ready to replace it shows the state Stardock development is in and the care for customers perfectly. The replacement is right here, which is what people asked for since we released Impulse to be honest. https://store.stardock.com/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/myaccount/products
<

I was wondering if there was a work around for the dock switching monitors when I rdp in. When I log in locally I have to change the settings to the primary monitor which is the monitor it is currently on then switch it back to the secondary monitor. Thanks Derek
Any upcoming programs besides fences? I was thinking of resubscribing because of fences but wanted to see if there was more in the coming year than just maintenance updates. Thanks Derek
Well I purchased Plus and it installs as a 32 two bit app. It shows up under task manager as 32 bit and shows under program files(x86). So its either the installer is messed up or it does not have x64 version.
Thanks I thought I read somewhere it was not a native 64 bit version.
Any plans on making a native x64 bit version instead of just a compatible version? Derek
Any plans to sell Tiles seperately? Im hesitant to resub to Object Desktop since not much seems to be added in the yearly timeframe. derek
Any chance a file manager for OD is in the works? I used to love ON for Os/2 and would love to see a good file manager for windows. Something with built archiving, file format viewers, multi paned, tabbed, folder syncing, maybe some editing abilities, drive space overview. I could go on forever. I did see an old mention of this being on the horizon in an old white paper from 2000 along with image navigator.
None in particular I just wanted to know before I installed any components so I can leave out the ones that dont work with vista x64 well.
Is there a list of components that work with vista x64 anywhere I cant seem to find one. Thanks
I was going to renew OD to get Ultimate but missed the dat :SNIFF!:

How do I download 1.6 I do not have Dark Avatar but have Galciv2. I am getting a blue screen only when playing GalcivII. A message about the video driver is not responding yes I have an nvidia video card with the latestdrivers. Do I have to purchase Dark Avatar for a fix? Thanks
I was there in the Os/2 days. Started out with the original Galciv in the ugly box and bought almost every Stardock OS/2 Game and Application. Even Links and I dont like Golf. It would be cool to see some of those come back on the Windows platform like Avarice or an update Trials of Battle. Was also one of the people who was hoping Stardock would sell their version of OS/2 much like the folks at Serenity Systems. I like Object Desktop better back then
I see that tab launchpad is no longer updated is there a program that does the same thing? Also what is happpening to treeview as well as that image viewer that was talked about a long while back?
