I see that tab launchpad is no longer updated is there a program that does the same thing? Also what is happpening to treeview as well as that image viewer that was talked about a long while back?

Hmm, never used Tab Launchpad, but I believe the Tabbed Docks feature that Object Dock Plus provides will suite your need very well.
