Agreed with you! Would be really nice. Also it would be nice to have icon fading effect. So now we have magnifaction effect, but it would be really cool to have them fading along with magnifaction, if you no what i mean

@which are you calling the default? the OD icon or the program's icon? The program's. @ right click on the dock and add a separator ye, i know how to add a separator, but how to change spaces between icon and separator? Cos sometimes it eats too much.
