A few things...

Icon paddings, Default Icon, Icon Alpha...

Greetings averyone.

1) I was woundering, if there is some way to adjust the icon paddings? Simply there are some square icons that are sooo close to neighbour icons. Is there any way to chage the distance between icons? icons and separators? docklets? etc?

2) How to make item to use a app's(photoshop for instance) default icon? When i place the photoshop.exe to the dock it replaces default icon with picture. And it's kinda uncomfy to create an ico or png for stuff like that.

Thanks.

1) right click on the dock and add a separator

2) when i add a new shortcut and browse to the .exe (PSP8 for example) it uses the psp icon which is all blurry and crappy looking.  which are you calling the default? the OD icon or the program's icon?

The program's.

@ right click on the dock and add a separator

ye, i know how to add a separator, but how to change spaces between icon and separator? Cos sometimes it eats too much.

I assume you are using a non-tabbed dock? Just disable the preview image (its in the settings somewhere) and the icon will stay as default (feather, eye, whatever photoshop you have ).

As for the seperator/icon problem, icons on the docks take up a set amout of space. Think of it as boxes. If you have the icons set to, say, 48x48 pixels, ALL things placed on the dock will be 48x48 . Can't change this I'm afraid . At least not as far as I know >_>.

Hope that helps ^___^.

you can't really increase the space between as far as I know - but I am wrong sometimes

however, if you are using .pngs for the icons - open the png in an graphic editor - if the png is 128x128 then create an new blank png that size - resize your original png down a bit, then paste that into the new blank = that will give you "edge room" around the png - the actual edge of the icon remains the same but visually will appear more spaced

A few things have been requested as far as icon positioning goes:

Icons centered,
left and/or right aligned,
justified (spread evenly across the dock)

So maybe in a future build?
