Ahh this is the base version of the game, never bothered to update it yet, guess I will now, eh? This sure is a wierd bug, but not unexpected, many games I've played reset values when you either go too high or too low for a certain cap, I guess this is what happened here, I can't spend money I don't have, so by spending -7,000 BC, I was actually receiving +7,000 BC from the other civ... wierd but within the realm of possibility. I'll patch and see if it still happens.

Serious exploit discovered in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I just crashed the game, but I don;t feel bad about that, I was exploring the depths of an exploit I discovered today. If you pay all the BC you have for 50 months, you will be payed that amount instead of pay to the other civilization once you hit zero funds. I discovered this in a despirate attmpt to buy some drengan battleships to help stave off the Altarian Navy. In two months I had exactly the emount I had before I entered the transaction, the next month, double, and so on
