Tried, it didn't help. Thanks though.
I'm on a Surface Laptop Book 2. I'm just downloading some intel driver (originally just built-in WHQL is installed, default windows driver, I'm curious if this helps or not). BTW: Skype free or Skype for Business? Office 2016 installed, none of those windows were skinned properly. Nor Chrome/Brave browser. Remote Desktop App I don't even expect to be skinned thats a different kind of "animal". :) &
Office, skype, chrome and many more apps not skinned or not skinnet properly? Tried a couple of built-in skins/themes, downloaded a few new one, nothing too fancy... seems the skins are broken, the top part just not skinning the windows. Is it just me or its now considered "normal behavior" for WB under win10?
Hi, Any update on the RDP Cursor not replacing request? Thanks, H0PE
Hello, Sorry to hear you are having issues. I have forwarded your problem to Stardock Support team for their assistance. Seems the 1809 Windows update fixed the double cursor issue on my surface. I'm very happy to be honest. The only issue remains is the RDP cursor is not replaced. Can you somehow force update the mouse cursor so the RDB app shows the nice cursorfx graph?
Hi, Any official update on this? I've reinstalled my surface (for other reasons) and wondering if there are new beta versions maybe for purchased CursorFX so I can try that out? I've yet to install cursorfx and the rest of my stardock products on this install, so I'm wondering if the double cursor issue been fixed already? I'm fairly sure that the default cursor "driver" initializes much much earlier prior CursorFX and somehow cursorFX got no permission to get rid of the defau
It didn't help. I've changed to 125% first restart was okay and looked fine. Afterwards new restart, I see double cursor. I've changed it back to 175%, restart It works again. Next restart it doesn't. Who understand this hehe.
Quoting PlanetH0PE, reply 1
I'm on Surface Book 2, so yes my scale is 150% currently. Also had to change the size of the mouse, it was way too small. Maybe the scale causing the mouse problem? hmm.
issues
After install it works fine. Also tried the bat file now, then reinstalled works okay after install... Now I'll restart will see if it fixed it for good, but... After I restart shutdown, usually next time I get double cursor. I wonder what causing this issue...
Skins and themes have to just support this feature, otherwise I think it wouldn't be that hard to implement. The skinning is very static thing since years as you mentioned, no real development or advancement on this topic. For now to be honest I just disabped my WB I love this coloring way more than any funky skins on the windows (that actually never work properly nowadays, window frames and win10 just don't like each other I suppose).
I'm loving this new (few months old though :D) feature in windows. IT picks a random color from the background and use it to "paint" the color of taskbar, frame titles, etc. I would go crazy for this feature in windowblinds. Please implement it, so the colors will smash our face and diversify our work environment, giving us more happines and COLORS. I'm pretty sure this will boost our work productivity to a significant level! :)
If you purchase Object Desktop you can continue to use the versions even if you let the membership expire. Hi, I would like to buy the apps (not all but most of them) that is available via object desktop separately. The reason is that I rather pay once xx$ than to pay every year 20$ to use the very same software. I find this unethical to be honest -I might be alone with this view, but as a customer this is how I feel- My question is: how long I get free updates if I buy the apps separately? Like Fences, Windowblinds, ShadowFX, etc.? 1 year? or until a major version change?
Never mind my question. I wont pay yearly for the same product over and over again, forget what I was asking. Thanks.
Hi, One more question. With discount I'm able to get object desktop for 19.99$ why would I buy a sub. renew for 29.99 then? Or there is some special discount for renewal also? Why couldn't I just use the coupon code for sub. renewal also?
Honestly I don't feel the 19.99 (discounted) price justifiable for a year of usage for the object dock anymore. I get the same software that you built years ago, and I do understand that you give me updates that might have some new features occasionally, but bug I kind of paying for bug fixes and the fact that I can use the product. This price is really high, sorry to say, compared to for example games, that got 4-5years of development time and millions of dollars of costs to make
I think there has to be a certain amount of insider testing, beta testing. These errors coming up for me are not new. If they didn't fix it for years then I'm sorry but not wasting my time with tickets, waiting for them to reply with the most basic crap they usually do, try to uninstall reinstall, blabla... Example of the most basic bug that is in windowblinds for years: On exclusion window, you cant mouse scroll the window. You have to scroll manually with the bar at the side
WindowFX and Windowblinds user since more than a decade... But last few years, I was barely able to use/enjoy the product. After reinstalling my windows, I always think of myself this time I make it clean and beautiful, so I install my object desktop (shadowFX, WindowFX Windowblinds, Fences, IconPackager). But every time, after realizing how much slowing the system down, make other apps completely useless, I have to turn it off (then it stays like this for months, until I have
Hi, If I have an ongoing object desktop license and I've found a coupon for object desktop that is cheaper than the renewal, what happens when I buy it? -Will I get another object desktop yearly license to the side of the current one or -The purchase is "added onto" the current ongoing license? -Will I loose my 91day and the purchase will "reset" the one year starting at the purchase? Thanks in advance...
Sorry if I wasnt too clear with the "early I used"... I ment versions and versions ago, like more than a year ago. ;) The Dell VGA? Its a standard non-hyped vga for sure, not expensive but probably enough for 2d computing on your dekstop. Stardock apps would require specific hardware? Then another reason not to buy. Sounds like "hey I wanna play this game but my pc too slow and have to upgrade"... Though this is not even a game just eye candy. :)
