Game runs minimized! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

i got my self a 2nd hand comp and tryed to run Gal Civ buy it runs minimized, i click on it and it keeps returning to the desk top, i have update dirext x and have a 64MB graphics card Please Help
