It would be more useful to me if the program could point to the Windowblinds, IconPackager, etc. in their normal sub directories instead of copying them in the WinStyles sub-directory. It uses a huge amount of disk space when you have as many skins as I do.

Fletch, I have had success by extracting the sits with Stuffit and then dragging the icons to LionTech's IconShop. They can be saved as an ICL,or extract the individual icons if you wish. I delete the 256 color icons and save the hi-color ones. I use the ICL with IconPackager to save disk space and it works great. Jebland

Feline... Perhaps your paw slipped on the scroll wheel, and you missed the posts by Jafo, Dethnite and Orion. My comment was in response to those posts, and I was kidding, as I am sure they were, too. Or were you just being "catty"? Jebland

Paxx, Thank you for your reply. I love computer art, but I am graphically challenged...I have done 2 Talisman ports to Windowblinds, but I don't think they are good enough to post(even if the original author gave his permission). I am an OD subscriber (since 6/2000) and I do a lot of downloads, but I don't have much to contribute to this site except to say that I enjoy it.

Some of the best icons I have ever seen have been from the Mac artists. I have downloaded numerous Kalidescope schemes, converted the icons to Win platform, and made IconPackager themes from them. Of course they will never be distributed, as I didn't draw them. The Mac people were doing graphic art back when the Wintel crowd (including me)was still staring at a blinking green C prompt.

I just read this morning that Microsoft is going to relax their "activation" requirements on WinXP. Now they say up to four changes of the ten that they profile on can be changed within a certain period of time (60-90 days/not yet firm) before re-activation will be required. Then more changes can be made after that. Sounds like they finally thought about what a nightmare this was going to be for them...I would not be suprprised if it is gone altogether by the final release.
