The suite looks great. Essorant is the reason I gave up skinning, I figure I can't make something that good, so why try? I'll just buy his. On another note, the video is so small I sprained my back trying to get close enough to the screen to see it. What do you use to create the video - I use Captivate but capturing in full screen makes a video that is 1600 x 1200 which is way to big to be sharing around the net.
aviris
I'd ask if it is ready yet - but since it isn't in object desktop I'm going to guess the answer is no. I don't suppose you could give us an idea? Thanks.
After the new update of SDC whenever I try to download anything (Icon packager 3, DesktopX ...) it give me an error telling me that my registration couldn't be validated despite having changed nothing except the SDC update. On the registration page I still have until next February until I expire. What's going on?
I realize that secure process is only .6, so this is more for information. After installing secure process, WordPerfect 12 gives me a little box that says "Preparing Document" when I hit print - and it never goes away and never prints anything. The exact same thing happened a month or two ago after installing Enhanced Dialog so this time I started with the Stardock applications I installed. All is well with Multiplicity, ThinkSync and Keep
I tried taking a screen shot, but no luck because the computer is locked at the time. Let me explain better. The dialog box that I'm talking about is the one that shows up if you have "On resume, password protect" checked on the Display Properties, Screen Saver tab. Once the screen saver has been activated it locks the computer and requires me to enter my password. No matter how many skins I go through, this single dialog keeps using VGREEN. <A HREF="https://www.wincu
I used essorant's VGREEN windowblinds skin quite a while ago (great skin by the way). I've been through several others and several builds of Windowblinds since then, but the little dialog that pops up to unlock the computer is still skinned with VGREEN. I've reset everything to classic windows, Windows XP, all different skins, but nothing changes it. I'm not part of a domain - so the only time the Unlock Computer dialog comes up instead of the user selection screen is when I've used
Me too - very frustrating.
Frogboy - I looked over the code and figured, "All I need to do is click on the city and it should ask me for a new zip code". I clicked and clicked, no luck. Just did what bipp5 said (added a Command Executed to the states) and it works like a charm. Great object, now if I could just get some rain on that thing!
Viewsonic MB110 21" on one machine, Samsung 950p 19" on second machine, old 20" Mac monitor with adapter hooked to kids machine. Waiting on the lottery to buy a Samsung 240-T.
I had this problem with some themes too. I am assuming you are trying to use the blackcomb logon created by Voodoo_Freak as the one by Mark Jaquith works fine. Anyway - I just downloaded the BlackcombLogons.logonxp file from Wincustomize to test this procedure. As you said, I open logon studio and press the Load button and select this file, and nothing seems to happen. Actually something did happen, if you look in your \Program Files\WinCustomize\LogonStudio\ folder you will see that fo

Here's another vote for a dual Athlon MP machine - I currently have two, one based on the MSI K7D Master-L and one on the original Tyan Tiger MP. The Tyan with Athlon 1700 MP's and the MSI with Athlon 1900 MP's. Each has: 1 GB of DDR SDRAM two Seagate Barracuda IV 80 GB drives a Plextor CDRW and a DVD drive (no DVD burner yet) Gainward Geforce 2 Pro graphics Viewsonic MB110 21 inch monitor Logitech Freedom Pro (cordless Mousman Wheel and cordless split keyb
I haven't used PSP for a while - think it was version 6 last I used it - but if you are now using Windows Paint, it doesn't matter which one you go with, either will do much more than you can belive. Cost is always a factor, and for the things Photoshop can do compared to PSP, I couldn't justify the price difference unless you really need those extra features Photoshop offers. Fortunately for me I'm a faculty member at a university so I can get academic pricing, so Photoshop isn't so incredibly
Okay - thanks. I've been using DesktopX and Windowblinds for over two years, but this new install is the first time I've ever used Winstyles. When I tried to change the setting on the WinStyles app things freaked out and then anything I touched on the WinStyles tab of the Display properties caused the Display Properties to close. So - I uninstalled Winstyles and when I tried to start DesktopX I got the missing odimg.dll message. Everything is working now - maybe I'll try WinStyles again
I just reinstalled Windows XP from scratch on my machine. I installed the latest beta of DesktopX using Stardock Central and it works fine except that it will not run at startup. When I open the desktopX configuration and check the box and hit apply it behaves normally, but I can immediatly open the DesktopX configuration panel again the and the run on startup box is unchecked Initial install was done using Stardock Central .8 something, I've tried again with the latest version of Stard
