Prior to Windows 11, I liked having my start bar located vertically along the left or right edge of my screen, rather than along the top or bottom. It makes a lot of sense, if you think about it, as often you have more space along the left and right, than top and bottom of your monitor. It just makes better use of the space. I hate that Windows 11 no longer allows for me to move my Start Bar to the sides. I'm wondering, does Star Dock's software allow for this? If so, I'd buy it in

If this helps anybody, I finally figured out what my issue was. It didn't have to do with Multiplicity at all. It had to do with Windows Slideshow Wallpapers on the primary PC. I run my wallpapers out of Microsoft One Drive, so that I could use the same wallpapers on multiple PCs and update them across the board whenever I want just by adding images to that OneDrive folder. However, on my PC, I set OneDrive up to run out of a different drive. It turns out that Windows doesn't like pulling the
I've been using Windows 11 for a couple of weeks, and one of the things that have bugged me the most has been the taskbar. It feels so limited and basic compared to previous Windows versions. I don't mind the centered icons or even the start menu. What bugs me most are two missing features: 1. The inability to drag files onto an open app's taskbar icon to open it in that program. 2. The inability to move my taskbar to the right or left side of my screen to make better use o
Just to follow up with this, The issue turned out not to be the mouse polling after all as it did come back. However, I looked into it further and saw somebody else comment about the slideshow wallpaper causing similar symptoms. I checked to see what happened when my wallpaper changed and sure enough, that is when my computer went crazy. I moved the folder where my wallpapers were located (they weren't on the C drive) and now everything is working nicely. Turned out not to be an is
Hi Neil, Thank you for the response. I would've replied right away, but I wanted to take the time to investigate your comments. It looks like my mouse was polling at over 1000. I dropped it to 125 and continued to use it throughout the day yesterday. I had no issues. So that does appear to be what the problem was. Thank you for helping me figure this out!
The issue: While on my secondary device (a work laptop with a secondary display), I occasionally experience the following issues. These issues occur probably only 5% of my work week but often happen for a few seconds (between 5 and 20) over several times and are super annoying. The following occurs at random, but most recently while using Adobe XD and dragging a shape on the screen. My mouse will start severely lagging
There was a recent update to Multiplicity, which seemed to help a little, but the issue still comes up very frequently, most notably while dragging files or icons around on the secondary computer. The primary computer never slows down. This is a very frequent issue. Notepad always sets it off, web browsers like Chrome don't do it as often same with Adobe software. Right now though, I have noticed a slow down when I have everything minimized and I'm just on the desktop. <
Just wondering if you had any other suggestions that I should try or look out for?
I do not have clipboard sharing across my Win10 devices. I checked the link you sent and when I hit Windows Key + V to pull up the clipboard, I can see I don't even have it turned on (Honestly didn't even know about that feature). I also went to the clipboard page in settings and verified that nothing is enabled there either. On the Sync across devices section on my primary computer, it says "get started" and on my secondary machine it says "sign-in". As I'm not signed in to sync the cl
I've been using Multiplicity for a while now (used an earlier version years ago too) and I've noticed that the mouse get's quite slow and laggy while on the secondary computer. Not always, but every now and then the mouse will trail behind my movements by a second or two. It's really annoying while dragging something on the screen such as desktop icons or files between folders. I noticed that when I have notepad open, the mouse gets sluggish when I move over the notepad window even if It's no
That worked perfectly, thank you very much.
I've been using Multiplicity for some time now. Yesterday a change occured that I did not make. Now, when I move my mouse from one computer to the other, the screen of the computer i just left fades to black. when i return to that screen it turns back on, but the other computer fades to black. I checked the Multiplicity settings and on the interface tab both "Show Status window when connected" and "Darken the screen when connected" are not checked. I attempted to check them, click
