Start 11 feature request

Would like to move the Task Bar to the right or left side of my screen

I've been using Windows 11 for a couple of weeks, and one of the things that have bugged me the most has been the taskbar. It feels so limited and basic compared to previous Windows versions. I don't mind the centered icons or even the start menu. What bugs me most are two missing features:

1. The inability to drag files onto an open app's taskbar icon to open it in that program.

2. The inability to move my taskbar to the right or left side of my screen to make better use of my screen space.

Since most websites and applications tend to need vertical space more than horizontal (even this website has dead space on the right and left sides) it makes so much more sense to stick the taskbar on the side. I've been working that way for years, gaining a few extra pixels of vertical space for whatever website or app content there is. However, Windows 11 does not let me do that.

When I was reminded that Stardock makes an improved Start Menu app, I was excited to see if they fixed this issue. They hadn't. So I'm requesting that this feature be added.

Thank you.
