Not seeing WB5 skins

I have the latest version of wb5 and only JUST nosticed that I am not seeing the WB5 skins. For example this is what I should see of Solair..

and this what I get...

When I open WB to load the skin, it doesn't even show the different options in the dropdown, just all the non WB5 skins come down. This partly why I only just caught this. The preview window shows the non wb5 version for all of them, but when I opened a skin in SKINSTUDIO, I saw what I had been missing.

Can anyone help?

Sorry. I just checked my system info with WB and my graphics card doesn't support the per pixel settings. My bad.

depending on your graphics card (since you didn't post the info) an update {or stepdown} of the drivers might work. There have been lots and lots of posts on this.

Here's the info
WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report:

STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC.

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine does not support per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

This is because :

Your computer graphics hardware does not support acceleration of per pixel alpha. WindowBlinds requires this for per pixel alphablended borders as without it performance would be poor. Please see if you can obtain new drivers for your graphics hardware. Recent ATI & NVIDIA boards should support this feature. Onboard graphics tend not to.

You have one monitor in total.

(COMPAQ FS7600 Color Monitor) 1 is attached to VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP

then I'm guessing you've been through here: Link, and there's no hope?

No. It's a specoific model made just for hp. The site you linked doesn't even list the model number VT8237.

Well, I getting stump deep here....maybe: Link down near the bottom in Resources?

I have no idea what an image kit does.

An Image Kit is a bunch of pretty pictures of chipset architecture and company logos....

I'm looking at it, and the only problem is it has that 'R' at the end of the serila number that my model doesn't.

I'd be afraid to install it.

Is that what this is?? Or could it be helpful with my problem?

I just went back and looked at that link again...I think the 'R' is for RAID. I don't know if that download for the VT8237R would install RAID (sorry, I don't know much anout this stuff) or if it's specifically FOR a PC that already HAS RAID.

The VT 8237 drivers can be downloaded from viaarena, but I have a link for easier access for you. I used to have a Soyo with the same Via KT600 and an earlier KLE266 chipset. The last set I used were the 4.53. Here is a link for an assortment of 4 in 1 drivers: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?id=16

Any idea what the Northbridge is? (CLE266, KN400, KM400, K8M800, PM800, CN400, VN800, etc)

Yikes...don't install that...

The 'R' stands for raid (as in drive array). You have nowhere to go with drivers for the graphics chip....it's as good as it's going to get....

It's KM400A...note the 'A'..I believe it's another indication this was made specifically for the manufacturer because.....
Here's the newest drivers:

that link is the same as the one Bichur posted and the VT8237 and KM400A are probably the only models they don't have drivers for. The PC manufacturer has an update from April of last year, which I reinsatlled..but it didn't change anything.

The 'A' means nothing...the 'newest' driver is from April of last year on either site (HP/VIA). I was sure you had it already installed....that's why I said you have nowhere to go with this piece of ....hardware...
