Whatever the Mods/Admins wish to approve.

My definition would have to be an expression. Whether it's with a drawing, writing, speech or action.

Incorrect. WinCustomize is a skinning site not an art site. Skins can be artistic of course but that doesn't mean good art makes a good skin (this all sounds familiar ).

If you want to upload art somewhere, there are other places you can go

So most of the people agree that art is an expression. Does it limit to the human mind or it does extend to other things? I hear nature has been the greatest artist ever!

anything I like

So art is a matter of taste and moreover personal taste? Yet isn't there anything recognized universally as art?

Ditto,it is a form of art to try and live one with another.

The rhythm of light and dark played in sequence across a canvas / screen.

This reminds me of the definition of scuplture by a professor of mine. The continuous game between light and shadow in order to give the aspect of depth.

In this spot was originally another post deleted? Basically, my comment was that my post stating:

Is to be regarded as some comical relief, and in a non-offensive manner. As we all know things can sometimes be taken the wrong way. Just need to let the community know that so I'm not viewed incorrectly.

There is no issue to worry about here and no harm done... it's just not a good idea to post e-mail contents on the messageboard

Back to art...

In someones mind, somewhare in this universe, farting in conjunction with musical notes can be considered an artform. It is safe to say that art is seen and experienced by the observer. Art comes from within. The external catalyst isn't the real art.

Now I will have some coffee and see exactly what I wrote.

Some folk do seem to practise this a lot, aspiring musicians maybe...

art relates to beauty or not?

not all the time .. sometimes art can be tragic... some of the greatest stories are tragic but yet considered art romieo and juliet for example.

IMO art is anything that take's you by the eyes or ears and leads your heart to places it normally only goes to in the sweetest of dreams

Art is whatever you find pleasing to the eye. It could be beautiful, or it could be ugly. If the patterns, shapes, colours, contrasts etc appeal, then you can call it art.

Art is more subjective than almost anything else. It is personal - only you know what you consider to be 'art'.

As long as there is a self-aware being around to admire/critique/judge/love/hate the form you are speaking of.

I think your question should include "can art exist without an art-aware observer?"

@SIXX21
No Fuzzy means they won't show up here. You need to upload them to a hosting site like imageshack Link

can art exist without an art-aware observer

That needs to be defined. Who or what can be considered as an art-aware observer. Does it take some skills to be considered art-aware or is something that all people are equiped with.
