Greatest Movies Ever Made

Greatest Movies Ever Made

Or At Least That I've Seen

Crybaby: Johnny Depp dressed like Elvis Presley, need I say more?
Favorite Line: "Kiss me Alison, kiss me HARD."

The Cure: Brad Renfro is the perfect portrait of love, as is his little friend.
Favorite Line: "Let's say I was walking through the grass and accidentally stepped in your mother."

Almost Famous: Who doesn't like this movie? It's one of the greats.
Favorite Line: "Your aura! Your aura is purple!"

A Goofy Movie: I like that this movie ends with Goofy falling through the roof; although it ends happily, it's not happily ever after. I just think it's true to life---love does conquer all but that's not to say there won't be obstacles.
Favorite Line: "Though he seems intoxicated, he's just highly animated, and he's nobody else, but Y_O_U!"

The Princess Bride: Another classic...if you don't like this one, we can no longer be friends. *winks*
Favorite Line: "As you wish..." awww dreamy...

Dangerous Minds: Teacher movie, but the best one yet. It raised the bar. Michelle Phifer (sp?) rocks!
Favorite Line: "So what? You gonna try and psychologize me now? Well, let me help you out, I come from a broken home and I'm poor, ok? How the f*ck you gonna save me from my life?"

My Girl I and II: Veda Sultenpuss is awesome!!! I wanted to be like her my whole life!
Favorite Line in #1: "I'M NOT SHICKEN!"
Favorite Line in #2: "That thing you said about your nose not looking like anyone elses...it's your nose."

Boyz and Girlz: Not widely known, kind of a B-movie, but not really. It deals alot with trust issues and letting go, plus it's hillarious.
Favorite Line: "Does it bother you that I'm having my period right now? We could have sex right now and I wouldn't get pregnant."

Ferris Buelar's Day Off: It reminds us that life is for living, not watching.
Favorite Line: "Buelar, Buelar, Buelar, Buelar, Buelar"

Office Space: This one has become one of the greats in many people's eyes. I would have to agree. It's soooo funny.
Favorite Line: "What would you do if you were rich and didn't have to work?'.......'Nothing'......"Man, you don't have to be rich to do nothing, look at my cousin. He's broke, don't do shit."

Son In Law: Ok, no cracking on the Pauly Shore fans out here. You know you secretly love the guy.
Favorite Line: "And on that farm he had a kid....with squishy puffy cheeks..."

Mall Rats: One of the many Jay and Silent Bob movies...the best in my opinion. Pure cleverness.
Favorite Line: "I would do it, but I threw my back out hump'n your mom last night---nooge!"

I may make a new list later, but these are the main ones. What's you favorite?

"Go away, or I'll call the Brute Squad!"
"I'm on the Brute Squad"
"You ARE the Brute Squad"

"Bye boys! Have fun storming the castle!"
"Y'think it'll work?"
"It would take a miracle."

That's the movie I say when peole ask me what my favorite movie is. Trivia: my college "Intro to Film" teacher was considered for the part of Westley, but his meeting with Rob Reiner didn't go well.

What's with all these fans of The Game....isn't that the flick with Edward Norton and Hackman? I think I shut that movie off after 45 minutes...which is weird cause I never stop a movie, and I love Norton....am I thinking of the right flick?

I liked it in "Men at Work" when the one guy took the pizza guy hostage with a bee-bee gun. Having war flashbacks, he called him "Pizza Kong."

I believe it is my Christian duty to give almage to the Adam Sandler Legacy:

Billy Madison-- "See? It's cool to pee your pants!"

Happy Guilmore-- ..."Just stay out of my way. You'll pay. Listen to what I say." "How about I go eat some hay? I can make things out of clay and lay by the bay. I just may. What do ya say?"

The Wedding Singer-- "Alright, remember. Alcohol equals puke equals smelly mess equals noboby likes you."

The Water Boy-- "Mama, when did Ben Franklin invent electricity?" "That's nonsense! I invented electricity. Ben Franklin is the devil!"

Big Daddy-- "What's this I hear about you doing laundry with my sister?" "Did she say we were doing laundry? Because where I come from, it's called "doing the hibbidy-dibbidy."

Mr. Deeds-- "SO how is the elevator business treating you, Reuben?" "Oh, it has its ups and downs."

Anger Management-- "Gooooosfrabbahhhh..."

When my daughter rented Princess Bride and made me watch it, I had to admit it was excellent and cracked me up. You might try searching for "Song of Bernadette" I think you'll like it.

in regards to Princess Bride my aaaaallll time favourite movie - it's Inigo Montoya. I'm glad the Cary Elwes got the part because he was so cute. I love all the Wallace Shaw (Vincini) parts. And the part at the end with Prince Humperdink & Westley "To the death - No to the pain!"

My favourite line - "Anybody want a peanut"

There's just so many good parts - and Robin Wright (penn) went on to do so many other good movies. And Rob Reiner Rocks to (when harry met sally, the story of us, stand by me etc)

Labrynth was another favourite of mine -
"You remind me of the babe,
What babe?
Babe with the Power?
What Power?
Power of Voodoo
Who do?
You Do
Do what?
Remind me of the babe."
