Copy-Paste freezes target window on Windows 11 26H2

App Version: 4.07

I'm in trial period of Multiplicity with 7-days left, but just before I make the purchase, an issue hit me.

When I copy something (either a screenshot or a piece of text) from the secondary computer to the primary computer, the target window I paste to gets frozen. Some window like Telegram freezes permanently, requiring a force-kill, while some just freezes for a short while, like the Notepad.

I do remember that when I firstly installed Multiplicity 23 days ago, copy-paste worked well.

 

By the way, I don't seem to have access to the beta download links.

This sounds like the firewall on the secondary computer is blocking it.  This would cause a 4 second pause (unless the app is badly coded in which case it might get stuck forever)

Are you using the Windows firewall?

Thank you very much. I wasn't thinking of firewall because it worked well at first. But when I double check, I do see 2 block rules in my secondary machine's Windows Firewall rules. I made them "allow" and everything works.
