resize problem

i need some help with a problem and a few other questions

greetings,

i'm working on another windows media player skin and i'm having a problem i can't figure out so i thought i would ask the fine people of the comunity for some help.

on the subview windows, when i resize them, the backround repeats or if i change the setting to "image dose not repeat" all i get is a white backround. i know how to look inside the .wmz and i can see that skinstudio breaks up the window so it can tile or strech the parts but why wont it do mine?

on another note: how would i replace or add an animation file in the skin. i don't know how to write jave script so any clues will be welcomed.

If you don't get an answer it's due to one of two things....anyone who has seen the thread does NOT know....or anyone who DOES know has NOT seen the thread.

Either way, same result.

Solution?

Patience and/or choose a more salient thread heading...

Hey! How come nobody's trying to help?
That's just not right!
I know there some knowledge or at least some decent helpful hints out there.
Come on, run it up a flag pole. I'll salute it.

I got nothing, I can't even look in a wmz . (but i looked it up, now i know what it is).

change CUBICUS PMD.wmz to CUBICUS PMD.zip and run the extract wizard. you can see all the images, java script file and the .wms files. just change the .js or .wms extention to .txt and open them in note pad. you should make a copy of the file first so you don't ruin the skin

sure, you can "play" with any you like. but i would want to see what you ended up with before you where going to release it, if it where mine to start with. call it a permission clause

usually it's jumbled, inoperable, have to delete and start over confusion. But I have fun.

before you were going to release it, if it were mine to start with.

that would be a given along with appropriate credit if permission granted to release.

thanks

heres a tip, if you zip the whole file it wont work. you have to go inside and zip the contents for it to work right! i found this out the hard way.

and as an up date to this i am makeing progres on my own through trial and error but, thats how i learn most things
