T-Man's work report for 3-25-05

I didn't get a chance last week to post my weekly journal so here it is.  Make sure you have had your cafine as this is another snoozer.

  • Investigate IIS Crashing on one of our servers.  Appeared to be a memory leak in InetInfo.exe.  Not sure of the cause but I disabled a few sites that were no longer running on that machine and the problem appears to have cleared up. Need to keep an eye on that machine.
  • Fixed CCing of Moderation Emails.
  • Implemented Auto Rejection Emails for WC Libs.
  • Fixed Bug in Affiliate Sales Report with it not reporting the end date sales.
  • Assisted in making sure all sites were running after the server move
  • Set up WC on new server, Loadbalanced WinCustomize onto a new server.
  • Installed JoeUser on to new server in chicago
  • Setup forums.joeuser.com
  • Fixed permissions issues with uploading files on new server.
  • Created image resizing bug when fixing the above permissions issue.  Fixed it too.
  • Charged GalCiv2 Pre-Orders
  • Created a job board to help organize our daily and weekly tasks
  • Continued investigation into database bottle necks.

    Have uploaded two logons one Windowblind, and the gremlins I think got them again, cause they disappeared ! No rejection letter...but seriously, just letting you know maybe something is wrong somwewhere..I dunno...

    Butch: You know why you don't get rejection e-mails. You have your mail set to bounce mail from WinCustomize.

    Super Wizop Fuzzy Logic Seeing this is not the first time I am saying this..I dont know why it doesnt sink in on your end. You are right I can send WinCustoms email to Junk but guess what...it would send all wincustom mail to the junk, not just some ! so how could you explain that I do get some? You cant have it both ways guy. and as a matter of fact my junk mail is not deleted until I tell them to delete it. It stays there for a minimium of 5 days. And you can verify this with anybody else who has a hotmail account.This is very simple - if you dont want to accept my work say it straight..I do not have time to play...games are for children, not for me ! Thank you.

    butch123 ... all we can go by are your 'claims' you do not receive the emails...eg several that were sent some months ago....that 'strangely' you later claimed to have received after all.

    WC's site admins/wizops don't need 'games' either, nor do they really wish to 'play'...

    ...and this is not the place...you have my email address....

    T-Man has done a wee bit more than just what he listed there....he also put on his size 12 bovver boots and stomped a few bugs  [he must love me] ....

    I still get errors when clicking on a user's name in the forum posts. I normally use SDC but if I rightclick & select 'open link Target in Firefox' it shows the same page of script/HTML errors.

    I have Hotmail and have none of the problems that Butch descibes...

    Anyhow...
