Need a button to center camera on ship or fleet

Windows Version Number: 11
App Version: no app

We need a button to center the camera on the currently selected ship or fleet. Being unable to locate the ship that is currently selected is a problem every time I live stream. The camera technically centers itself of the fleet the moment you tap the enter button but I am usually zoomed out to far to see the fleet, then when I zoom in it goes to a different spot than where the ship is. I have been dealing with it by clicking on a different ship and then hitting enter again.

Gameplay would be so much easier if clicking on the picture of the ship or fleet in the bottom left automatically centered the camera on the unit. All the other strategy games I have played all have the feature of centering the camera on the unit if the picture is clicked. Gal Civ 4 is the only strategy game I have ever played that does not have a feature to center the camera on the unit, and in comparison to other strategy games Gal Civ 4 is much more likely to loose ships do to how vast and complicated the terrain is.

The picture in the bottom left is already an action button, it pulls up a redundant menu about ship information that is all covered in other menus. Switching the pictures action to center camera on unit instead of pulling up a redundant menu is a super easy bug to squash. I would do it myself if Stardock would let me.

There is a simple fix for this. Go to the keyboard controls setting and change the mapping of Auto Colonize from C to something else (I used L). After doing this the C key will now center the camera on the ship assuming you have NOT changed the key mapping for "Center map on selected object" which is mapped to C by default
