Hope I don't have a title at all still. I prefer just 'Essorant'. In fact, I seem to remember that you could select a title from a drop-down list, which included 'none' as an option.

I have no need of title, glasshopper.

Definitely bugs in the system somewhere...

And a friendly reminder to anyone who may have accidentally gained Journeyman access. Taking advantage of that to upload stuff to the library would be a poor career move

There used to be somewhere that had a dropdown to show our titles.. didnt there?

What do the Titles mean? As in do they give you different access to the site? or uploading, etc?

You used to be able to select your title in your account settings, but it hasn't been added to the new site yet. The titles are separate from user classes (such as citizen, apprentice, journeyman, etc.) and purely for appearance. Each user class comes with a set of titles to choose from, including all of the titles from the classes before it. So a citizen has a few titles available, an apprentice can pick from those titles plus additional titles, journeymen can select from all of those titles plus additional titles, and so on.

I prefer just Citizen,nothing more (so i hope i don't get to be promoted to any other vain title ).Citizen kinda reminds me of the ancient Athenian democrtacy where everyone was equal in every aspect of life.It gives a sense and feel of freedom.A citizen can speak for himeslf and for others in a fair way,he/she can create for himself and for others in order to prosper and be happy
