Why can't I upload anything?

What type of file?

What type of browser?

T-man may have been doing some background code editing, temporarily disableing certain bits and pieces of the site.
Just try again later.
(or the server may be playing up...)

I tried a few days ago. I tried with Mozilla and then IE both days. (Maybe getting ready for V4!!! ) Been trying to upload BootSkins.

WC4 is just around the corner....

Hey, I'd like to find an answer to this issue too.....
It only happens when I try to upload a Suite. I've not had any problems uploading any other skins, but since I've been working with Pinchecl....Now that we gotten all the CP32 and 33 skins uploaded and accepted, I've made a Suite for them both, but haven't ben able to get past that messg...
I've tried several times....a LOT....different times of the day and night, and I have DSL, so I don't think the issue is with my connection, especially since it hasn't happened with any other skin.....
Please, help me too!!!

Try adjusting your nick...to be alpha-numeric only....

Often is the problem, though....

Same applies to the name of the files you upload....

I'm uploading SpeedyPC for AMD 64. Should it just be "SpeedyPC for AMD sixty four"?

Short file names work best Like spcamd64.zip for example.

That IS what the file name is.

Maybe it's the '??' in  your nick. I'm not sure, but I don't think questions marks are considered alpha characters, and they certainly aren't numeric. 

Even if it has worked before, I've seen it happen where special characters in nicks worked for a while, and then started causing problems.

Koasati, I tried it, by changing my name temp. to "Meowisback". It didn't go. Maybe the server IS playing up. Right now, though, both of my printers are broken, so I'm checking through Amazon.com. I'll try to upload both of them again later. For #7 + 8, I know the one that showed up didnt even get to moderation because I got no email.

I just tried to download (as opposed to upload) a few different skins a while ago and kept getting the error message that MEOW was referring to. Could this have anything to do with SP2, which I installed late yesterday? It's the first time I've been here since yesterday's installation. Suggestions?

Remember: I don't have XP, so obviously I don't have SP2.

I NEVER get a confromation email saying thanks for uploading, please wait for 5 day....I used to get them, but not a single one in over 3 months.

There have been several time that I uploaded something, looked at the My Skins page and it was there,waiting on approval, then came back later, and it was gone...It happens ALL the time!!

It doesn't mean that the mods didn't get it, it means it was rejected.

My question is, because I'm having the same issue....to which library are trying to upload to?

For me it only the Suite library, I can upload anywhere else, no problem, though every wallpaper I've tried, and a few other things have just disappeared without a trace....or rejection letter, for that matter.

Could this have something to do with User Classes....cause I work a lot with Pinchecl and his skins are automatically accepted but mine have to wait, so is it because I'm not classified high enough....I only wonder, because I'm a Mod at another site, and members with certain ratings can do certain things, editing, uploading, dowloading, posting pics...ya know that sort of thing.

Emails aren't sent for successful uploads (never has been as far as I know). You get an upload successful page, and that's where you see the message about the 5 day wait.

It has been pointed out many many times......... rejection letters are not sent for wallpaper. If you have skins disappearing from other libraries with no email notice, that's a different matter. We do send rejection notice for all other libraries. Is your email address in your profile correct?

I use to get an email for everything. Email addy has not changed, new one pending, getting a new cable provider (maybe).

Other peoples Boots seem to be going. WHY NOT ME??????
