Well, I must be lacking a few cells in the sense of humour department. I find nothing funny about watching people fight each other to death, even if it's just stick men.  And I find even less funny (actually quite gross) MGiff's link.  What's next? A stick man raping a stick woman? Would that be funny?

OK, so the original wasn't as bad, I admit. It wasn't so gross, but I didn't really find it funny or cute either.
I probably was MGiff's link that was fresh in my mind when I wrote my post...

I didn't click on the second one...just by the nature of one of the reactions...I don't think it would be something I would laugh at.

The first one...the stick guys in the box...heck I used to laugh at the three stooges.....it's not really the humor of it...it's the irony....

it's also in human nature to yawn or laugh when nervous....

I laugh when I trip in public and then look around to see if anybody saw...have you ever done that...and then tried to look as if it were intentional??? Why???....just because we know how stupid we look when we do something like that...

well, must went something wrong wen I grew up because it seems that I have a lack of humor... the first link isn't funny IMHO, its just to boring, couldn't spare a small smile for it.

The second link is 'ok', just the same boring humor, but the guy who created that stuff is a complete idiot, have you seen his comments? maybe we all should send some hatemail

I'll admit the Stickdeath site is a bit violent, and surely not to eveyones' tastes, but it's all parody. The MotoX was especially hilarious, but I wouldn't send the link to my parents.

Mmmmm interesting the emotions these little stick it to em's have evoked - but if you just get past that and look at what's happening, some of the tension in the figures, the way the figures are destroyed by their own escalation into armed conflict through abusing their environment, you could build a whole new critique based more on a morality tale.

My point being the 1st link leads to a battle, simply entitled fight, between 2 opponents whose motivations, gender and age are unknown and yet there seems to be an awful lot of emotion being invested in them based on what would seem, given the lack of information, to be subjective responses.

If art is partly about eliciting an emotional relationship between the piece and and viewer then from that point of view alone, it seems as if someone's triumphed

Now I never said that was a GOOD link, just in the same mindframe as the other. Juvenile is juvenile and the stickdeath site is definitely juvenile. I do like the music there though. (don't hold that against me)

I don't know about the second link, although some of what is on there is pretty ironic. In that sense one of them had me laughing.

Nevertheless, that first link I posted... very funny. To me, it was funny in 2 ways.

One because I can somewhat identify with it
Two, all that violence just ended up getting both of them hurt... seriously.


Paxx, I would think you would pick that up actually. In the end all that fighting was for what? They just destroyed the place they were at... how ironic.

I guess you can either laugh at it, or laugh with it. I prefer to do both!

paxx, i was really amused b/c it reminds me of the guys i went to college with just goofing around. they're not really angry, just acting stupid. no one in their right mind is amused by real violence....

oh, and i am referring to the first link: i haven't opened the second one....
