WStaylor has grown by leaps and bounds. In the last 30 days we went from about 30 members to about 70.

I guessed people here liked skinning and work a lot with all kinds of 3d programs and all that.
So that wouldn't be that much asked would it?

I hope someone is willing to make something for us.

We want our own logo, something that people can remember.

when I first started skinning I assumed that all glassy stuff and any thing that had depth required a 3d program
actually you can do it with pohotshop

anyway whay how about 2 curled up lizards in a circle (kinda like a sobie bottle lol)

i think those curled up lizards in a circle can be quite nice, But can you make a little sketch or something like that so i can get a little idea, unless you are willing to make the whole thing. But then again, if we don't like it, you've done all the trouble for nothing...

boy! I was wondering about making it for you for free (as I allredy made a few for some people), but after your last comment I changed my mind. I never heard something so tough from a client (people who actualy pay me for that), imagine for free.

I think your are using a wrong aproach, with this one you will find no one to make what you need, keep in mind that you are asking for a favor.

ps: the wincustomize lizard was done by us (pixtudio) and it is copyrighted so I suggest you to make something different.

I think you don't understand us, i'm from the Netherlands so i cannot express myself as good in english as in dutch.
I know very well that i'm asking for a favor...
But what do you mean by hearing something so tough? i dont quite understand which sentence you are referring too.

And about your PS...I was not planning to use the wincustomize lizard. But latin4567 said he could make 2 curled up lizards in a circle so that's his idea and quite different like the wincustomize lizard i believe.

Please don't get me wrong. I try my best to express myself best but because english is not my 1st language sometimes people get me wrong.

English is not my native either, I am Brazilian and speak portuguese.

What I undertood from your words was something like..."if you want to do us a favor, do it at your own risk, because if we don't like it we will not use it" and that came very badly to my eyes.

I allready did jobs for many different companies, really huge ones and others very small, I am used to see many different aproachs. I allready have many workes aprooved in the first version I made and also already made templates during one hole month to please a client, so this is not a big deal to me.

About the lizard thing, since your site is something for people to customize their desktops, I just thought that you could use something very unique, something that just remind the user to your site, if you use a lizard, it would not be original and could confuse your user....btw, I like the mice idea. In fact, I like it better then a lizard, it is more releated to computers.

What I suggest you is, don't be so straight or you will have the risk of discourage any possible candidate to help you. There are some things that you can think, but you can't say.

i don't think it's a bad thing to say that. If someone makes a logo for us, and we do not like it (which will not happen fast) we aren't going to use it. it's as simple as that. I want to save people who are willing to do a favor for us a lot of trouble by designing a preview logo (i dont know how to say it best) so we can take a look at it, and together make decissions what is best.
But let's please quit that discussion...

Can i see some logos that you have designed? i'm curious how they look like...

Please understand I am in no way discussing with you, really.

To be honest logos are not our speciallity, but we allready made some, what we do most is exactly what you site will show...we modify windows, GUI design, icon design, web design, etc...

BTW, the Wincustomize logo was done by us, as also was all Wincustomize site skins.

Labmice.net has been around for a few years now and it is a Windows Support and Modification site. So Mice would not be origional really.

I allready have an idea for the logo, so we will make it as a pro bono work, and for fun too.

Winmod scored a pixtudio logo for free, it got to be his lucky day man, I am sure you will like or... or maybe not, you probably will LOVE it

I just whiped up a chameleon from something i will post a shot. Actually... it has different colours..
