Who can make a logo

Hello, we're looking for people who can make us a logo.
we are searching for something like wincustomize has..
a little creature or something, it has to be 3d.
colours that can be used, lightblue/silver/grey. We like glassy effects.
Check here to get an idea what fits the image:

#24 by Skinner Styl skinner - 5/21/2004 4:08:43 PM Winmod scored a pixtudio logo for free, it got to be his lucky day man, I am sure you will like or... or maybe not, you probably will LOVE it

Hello!!!! It will probably be good on the first shot.

At any rate, this is not a big deal really. I am sure you can even make up something yourself if you have an image making program. Paint shop Pro is a worthy investment. Give it a shot, I did and so far so good. I am not really an artist, I just know some of the technical details of artistry. I think if you already have an idea in mind, why not give it a shot and draw it up yourself. Trust me, it will be a good experience.

By the way, i've tried to make logos myself, but i'm not all that good with that kind of programs, i just try my best, but mostly i'm not happy with the results.
I do not have 3dsmax, i heard so much about that program, shame it is so expensive...

Uzair,.. all the photos doesn't seem to work, i will email you, maybe if you will email me them they'll work.

btw2, Thanks for all the replies so far...
i cannot wait to see what comes out of this all..

Cheers !!

Thanks for your effort..
With which program did you created this?

Anyway, i sended you a mail...

As Mentioned Above... I used 3DS Max 5.1

btw you gave me the colors but i still dont have the size to create Production Quality Images. It would be better if you mail the size or post it here.

The logo will look odd if its shrunk or enlarged.

/me thinks it better for WinModify to have a logo that does not bear so much similarity to the the 'Wincustomize Lizard'.
You would think with a name like WinModify, they would have a modified (win..dows) logo.
It just makes sense to me.

That's just me.

The Chameleon that Uzair made doens't look at all to the WC lizard..?!? does it?

The logo should be around 200x80

By the way, a while ago Robert (webgraph) made us something http://www.winmodify.com/Wallpapers/3D/3d-small/Webgraph_WinModify-Aqua-2-P.jpg

We think it's very nice done, except now we're looking for a creature if possible..

Cheers...

The nice way to put it, "It was a sample that i modified for the logo". The blunt way to put it, "I ripped this."

You see, this guy......

...this guy is John Stetzer. Now good ol John made this a while back using 3DS Max, and to help show possiblities that the program is capable of, he lets discreet package this "sample" with the program. (as shown)

Now Im not super sure how well common sense is registering with you at the moment, but I hope that "Mr. Winmodify" is smart enough to know that if they used "your" batched up version of "good ol Johns" chameleon, somebody is basically just BEGGING to have Discreet, and "good ol John" jumping down their throats ready to sue somebody.

Now looking at "good ol John" youll notice hes got a big ol grin on his face, and Im pretty sure he doesnt wanna have that smile ruined by having to take ignorant people to court and wasting everyones time. So how about, you take all those images and neatly tuck them into the recycle bin, "Mr. Winmodify" can forget he ever saw them, and MAYBE we can see some logos that people have ACTUALLY MADE AND ARENT VIOLATING COPYRIGHT LAWS.

I didn't want to (as I usually do) ruine the party but I had this feeling like "Man, das this thing looks familair or not??"
Ruin the party?! NO WAY! Look at "good ol John." He's living it up.

Hmmm on door # 1 you have a free logo from one of the best artists around....
Door # 2 you have .........nothing good.

Which door will you pick?
Sorry,
I did not know that the chameleon was copyrighted. If i knew it i would have never done so. i am also an artist and know what it feels like if your hardmade stuff gets stolen.
on the other hand you could get permission from this 'jhon' that you want the logo for the site. i'm sure he will give it to you. (as he is bieng called good ol john, i think).

Anyways, horizOn nice detective work. You saved both WinModify and me.

Treetog how much do your logos usually cost, also I called a while back and also sent alexandrie an email(that's what she told me to do when I called) It was about a tribal skin that i would like to buy, and I know you are one of the if not THE best so please reply so I will know what happened to my email...
Damn.. not good news..indeed nice detective work!
Then i'll have to wait what Treetog's making.. I guess i can call myself damn lucky that he's willing to make it for free
Reply #45 Top
I think the least i can do is put a link on our website. Treetog, do you have a banner?

DWatson: I don't remember of ever getting any email from you, please email me again treetog@pixtudio and I will answer all your questions.

Winmodify: We plan to start to work on your logo tomorrow, about banners, we can talk about that later, first let's see if we can please you. GO! GO!

Okay I will, It will say tribal skin inquiry, but it'll be a couple hours because i need to find the sample graphics i had again

If and I say IF, I was to be stuck on the idea of a Chameleon, I would put the sucker on top of a Window with only it's shadow and possibly a tonal shift showing the outline. Though I might make the eyes, nails and tip of the tail more visable and consistant with a living one. ( Lizard, not Window )
