Wallpaper Request: I know, I know....

Wallpaper Request: I know, I know....

Wondering if anyone can/want to make a nature/landscape related wallpaper. Using a sakura (cherry blossom) tree as the main focus. Minimalisic background as to not distract the point of the wallpaper.

I know, I know. It's a long shot, but I trying my luck here and see if anyone is up to the challenge. There's just too many pond, ocean, sunset, mountain wallpapers.

There! I'm finished!! I can add a sunset if you feel it's needed.

That's much better. The sunset was just an idea. However, you might want to experiment with a few things to include in the background, it looks "empty".

It needs a vertical object to break the horizonal look (tree/sky/grass all horizonal), possibly the sunset near the left in the horizon like the previous version and/or a dirt road with fence (old fashion wood fence) on each side disapearing into the horizon (directly centered or not). Experiment.

The main focus should be the tree itself, it's petals. The details should be in the petals.

It's becoming as to what I had in mind.

Photoshop. The sky is a gradient found on the Adobe Studio Exchange, called sky gradients. I added the cloud effect with brushes found the same place. Thanks by the way.

Wow. Great improvement. But the sky still looks empty, it could just be me. However, try adding a sunset (or whatever comes to mind) over the big empty white space on the left. Possibly have the sun peaking over the trees. Darken the grass a bit for lighting effects and such. I'm impressed.
