Objectdock opens on second monitor

ObjectDock normally opens on my first monitor, however sometimes when I start ObjectDock, for no apparent reason and randomly, it opens and positions itself at the top edge on my second monitor even though it is configured to open on first monitor, top edge. The only way to recover from this situation is to close and restart objectdock again and it then correctly opens on my first monitor. Please fix this issue.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information on your system please.

  1. Windows full version and build number. Please use Winver.exe
  2. ObjectDock version installed.
  3. Details on your monitors, resolution, scaling factor, connection type etc.
  4. Any details on how to reproduce this issue consistently. Such as, after a full screen application running, or after wake from long sleep etc.

Hello,

I again experienced this issue a few times since I posted above message. Also, it appears this issue was faced and reported by others too. Anyway, here are details.

1. Windows version 23H2 (OS Builde 22631.3880)

2. ObjectDock 3.01

3. Display scale: 100% (Recommended). Resolution 1920 x 1080. Connection type HDMI.

4. ObjectDock is set to auto start on login so this issue (when it happens) happens upon logging in after a computer restart

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
