I am now back at Version 1.41 and this resolves my Problem for the moment (by the way, the new Beta did not)

EDITED
End of Plll6DiabloPower's quote

I am afraid we had to remove the link as we cannot have links to our files as we do not control what they point to.  Whilst it might be what it says today, it could be changed in the future.

I have a feeling the 1.41 works because it doesn't support blur on the taskbar on the version of Windows you are using.

Your issue is especially odd as that looks like Windows thinks your taskbar needs to be able to work as a touch version so has added the space for the extra large one but this should only ever happen on the primary monitor.  Secondary monitors should never enable that.

Does the problem continue if you temporarily switch to a single monitor?

Also what is your hardware exactly?

Tried 1.4.5 beta and it did not fix my problem. It's even worse. I'll try 1.4.1.

If this is the case, then it seams as Start11 is not able to recognize that my primary Monitor is an external one. (at least at home, using my Razer eGPU case) I am not even using the integrated Touchscreen of my notebook at all! The lit is closed all the time.

Yes! it doesn't matter how many Screens I have connected, or if the external GPU is connected or not.

I am posting the screenshot I posted earlier for 1.4.4. It's the same for 1.4.5 but the start button and tray icons are even higher up on 1.4.5(or at least they appear to be, it's hard to tell).

I can't take a screenshot for 1.4.5 now as I am working on this computer but it's exactly the same behavior as 1.4.4.

This happens only when the computer wakes up from sleep and apparently only on my primary monitor(the GPU chooses monitor priority depending on which display port you connect to.). If I turn off my primary monitor and use my secondary monitor, this issue does not happen.

If I turn off and disconnect the secondary monitor and only use my primary this issue happens every time my PC wakes up from sleep.

Both monitors run on 1920x1080 rez, primary on 144hz, secondary on 60hz. 100% scale.

I am using small taskbar. I also had this problem in the past after MS updated their UI but for 1.4.3 things where stable. If there are no relevant changes between 1.4.3, 1.4.4 and 1.4.5 maybe Microsoft did some changes in the latest updates. I'm currently running on build 22621.1702 (up to date updates, regular win build not insider or canary builds)

Why the oblique arrow and question marks?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try this, uninstall Start11, reboot immediately after uninstall. Re-download Start11 from your account page. Reinstall it. Reboot and retest. Report back.

Thanks

I finally figured out what is causing this. It's my 4K tv. When it's turned off, everything is ok but when the tv is on and I wake up the computer from sleep I'm getting that alignment issue.

It's weird as 1.4.3 worked fine. 1.4.4 and 1.4.5 don't. I've also seen other posts describing the same issue.

At startup, the taskbar icons on the right are offset downward (see above).  The Start11 software is configured to center the icons vertically.  Switching the taskbar  Auto Hide feature on and off (in Windows Settings) corrects the problem, but only until the next restart. The current Windows 11 Home build is 22621.1702.

All,
