Sorry to say, this has happened to me twice now.  Once a while back, at the time I assumed it was me and later it 'fixed' itself, possibly after a patch-related reboot.  Now it's happened again, tonight, and so far it's remained that way no matter what I've tried.  I haven't tried restarting Start11 or rebooting, let alone as someone suggested blowing it all away and reinstalling.  I figured if you needed evidence that this IS a issue with Start11, well, here you go: search broke

It happened to me again a few days ago.  Unfortunately, it's random, only happens every couple of months and I can't replicate it on demand. Restarting always fixes it.   Stardock is aware of the issue but is having trouble finding the cause.  I hope they can track down the bug.

basj from Stardock (above) asked to try restarting explorer.exe to see if that fixes it (I forgot to test that).  Report back if you try it:

Restarting Windows Explorer DID appear to fix the issue.  Another oddity that may or may not be related, I have the "Night light" feature enabled, which *should* have given everything an amber cast after 5:16ish, but it didn't. And I only noticed this as when I srestarted explorer Windows 11 suddenly realized it's a bit after midnight and it had forgotten to "show warmer colors" to help me sleep.
