With the Start11 1.31 release, we are creating this thread so that users can report any observed issues.  

Obtaining Start11 1.31

Object Desktop members can get the release from within Object Desktop Manager

Reporting an issue

Please include the following for anything found:

  • Exact Windows version \ build (winver.exe)
  • Detailed steps to recreate the issue seen
  • Screenshots and videos are very helpful.  Videos can be uploaded to a cloud drive services (GoogleDrive, DropBox, OneDrive, YouTube) and links included in your post.  Images can be directly added.
  • If there are specific apps that the app does not work (well) with, please note what apps and their exact versions.  If any app is not common, a link to a trial version would be appreciated.

One other bug I have found is that pressing F1 brings up an error:

 

and redirects my browser to Error opening Help in Windows-based programs: "Feature not included" or "Help not supported" - Microsoft Support

There is no help file because of the simple and intuitive interface built like one. Personally, I think a help file wouldn't make things easier than going through the limited number of options in the program.

Ah, I understand. Its more the broken link than needing a help file. Maybe bind the F1 key press event to:

ShellExecute hWnd, "open", "https://support.stardock.com/space/SS/1325531182/Start+Menu+Products", _
    NullString, NullString, SW_SHOWNORMAL

This is what the 'Get Help' goes to in the about section of the app.

(didn't find this on a quick scroll through).  I suspect a Win22h2 support issue (build 22621.819).  Start11 version 1.31 

I have the taskbar docked at the top.  The behaviour of right click on wifi/volume/battery blob on the right has always been a bit off (it used to appear bottom right of the screen - not just below the task bar as i would expect).

this has got worse now - it appears under top right, but then gently works its way down the screen until it rolls off the bottom.  If i am quick i can change wifi network before it disappears.
