Icons hiding behind Fences after mousedrag/moving file Win11/Fences 4

Sometimes when I move an icon (or icons) from one place on the desktop to another, it seemingly shifts other unintended icons into strange places on the desktop, often behind a fence hidden from view. I then have to move all my fences around to see what's behind them, despite having some transparency enabled.

 

Does anyone else have this problem?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more on your system/issue.

  • Windows 11 full version numbers, please use Winver.exe to get those numbers.
  • Have you try disable "Auto arrange icons" and see if that help. (right click on desktop->View->un-tick "Auto arrange icons")

Windows 11 22000.708 (21H2)

Auto arrange icons hasn't been enabled and the problem remains. Just happened again a moment ago.

Please try purge and reinstall steps as mention here : [Link]. Just make sure to redownload the latest version (v4.05 Beta) from your account page. Reboot after the purge. Reinstall and reboot again after the installation. Retest and report back here.
