Restore multiple times a day

I have a very annoying problem.
Almost every time I have to log in to my PC, the icons are in the wrong place on the screen. After a restore they are fine again.
The icons keep reverting to 1920 x 1080 screen resolution while I have a monitor with 2560 x 1440 resolution.
Does anyone have an idea how to remedy this?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. More information on your system please.

  1. Windows version, please use Windows own "Winver.exe" to get Windows full version numbers.
  2. Fences version.
  3. All Screens scaling, 100%,125%,150%?
  4. And screenshot of your Fences setting "Layout features and snapshots" something like screenshot below.

1. Windows 10 Version 21H2 Build 19044.1466

2. Fences version 4.0.0.3

3. Scaling is 100%

Just curious, I wonder why it change to 1920x1080, do you have use this resolution before? Do you have another display with that resolution? Perhaps secondary monitor?

Had some issues myself but as i use both a 1080p Monitor and a 4K Big screen TV both connected to my Graphics card, i had the TV wrongly set as Default device and when i switched between the 2 all manner of strange things happened on my Monitor
