Logo Screens

How? How? How do you change the logo screens? I have everything just the way I like it and then that Please Wait ugly doesn't match screen comes up. I've checked out the LogoZip it isn't for XP. None of them are. There must be a way. I just can't figure out what that is. Something simple like the fabulous LogonXP would be so very helpful. I'm at the end of my rope. Can't take it anymore. Headache. Help.

Why not use LogonStudio then... https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/ It's free and works a treat.

I'm afraid I wasn't making sense. I wanted to know about the Please Wait, Turn Off Computer, Restart, ect., buttons and windows. I was only mentioning LogonXP/Studio in the sense that it was easy to use as a program. I download a logon screen and it goes where it should. Fabulous!

That window is part of the skin you are using. Some skins may not have skinned that portion. If you have Skin Studio and are using Windowblinds/Object Desktop, you can find that section in Skin Studio.

What version of WindowBlinds are you using?

elfenm07: are you referring to the boot screen and shutdown screen? That's what it sounds like to me. If you DO mean those, then you won't find any software or screens here that change those. you could try somewhere like www.themexp.org, but remember, changing your boot screen is basically a hack of your operating system.

Boxxi, I think she means the Shutdown/Logoff Dialog window.
But if she is using WB 3x it wont skin those shells. If she has WB 4x it can be 2 things. Either the 'Always Use Blue Shellstyle' is checked or the skin she is using doesn not have those shells skined.

I'm using WB4x. I went looking around Windowblinds some more. My 'Always Use Blue Shellsyle' was off, but took a deeper look around and double ckecked Basic Settings. Found the Backgrounds for dialoge, checked that and Tada! Headache gone! Thanks to everyone for their help. And Apocalypse_67 for leading me on the right path.

Ps. I have BootXP, but have read unnerving things about it messing up the system. Haven't used it yet.
