Censorship Vs free expression

Censorship Vs free expression

On a publicly accessible 'Family' website, what are YOUR thoughts regarding the line beyond which no-one should cross?

What is considered 'inappropriate' to you?

And why?

Needless to say, this is not the forum for boundary crossing  but an open discussion on where lines really SHOULD be drawn.

I will be at pains to stress that at no time is there a 'double standard' being applied and to suggest such is insulting to the reputation/s and moral conduct of the moderators here.

hashonboat I wasn't mocking, flaming or in anyway being derogatory about your nick. Like I said, it doesn't both me in the least.

What I did do though was point out the fact that it reads different ways to different people and those whom happen to be wrapped so tight it sounds like bag pipes when they pass gas, could very well read it as being an explicative reference to drugs.

I do apologias if you took offense to it's use.

My son has a screen name which is another that falls into like with the thought mentioned above.

" godisnowhere " now you can read it as God-Is-No-Where or you can read it as " God-Is-Now-Here " in one instance it can be seen to read that God isn't anywhere and the other indicates a serious ego trip... Frankly the use of it did in fact do exactly what any 15 year old punk/thrash rocker likes best, it caused no end to controversy and pissed some people off in general...

As far as it being a flame goes, that is something I avoid doing and on the off chance that it did happen and I did not remove myself from the site before allowing it to take place there would not be any questioning of it is was or was not flaming...

anyway...
