Did you really send a Start11 update by EMAIL?

This seems suspicious, as you have a perfectly good distribution channel through Object Desktop and the "Check for Updates" feature in Start11 itself. Is someone trying to hack your customers or is this legitimate?

My system says I'm running beta 0.55 now, yet the update you're pushing through email is also version 0.55, so what changed?

Hello,

Some had an issue with their update so the email is just for 

those folks who needed it to have the right version , that's  all.

No that's not the norm but a few needed a quick fix , it severed it's purpose.

The issue was for the people with the issue the check for updates feature was inaccessible.  Not a problem for ODNT customers but not all Start11 customers are ODNT ones.

This was a legit email but as a matter of caution you should always double check the URL in any emails however and that the file is signed by Stardock Systems, Inc..
