The Ring

The Ring

Have you seen the movie "The Ring"?  If so, you know that there is a creepy tree that is always shown in it.  Well, I have this picture that I took in the fall last year that my husband thinks is really creepy.  (I took it before we saw The Ring) He says it reminds him of that tree burning.

What really creeped me out was when the little girl came out of the tv and came after the ex-boyfriend(husband or what-ever)and that creepy music

if you think "The Ring" is creepy, you should try watching the original Japanese film "Ringu", from which it is based. The girl who came out of the TV was 10x creepier. And the sounds from the jap movie is spine tingling!!. Lots of eerie silence punctuated with simple yet effective sound effects at the right moments.

I want to see Ringu to compare them.  I have heard that Ringu is creepier,
so I am not sure that I'm up for that yet

The Ring was an aswesome flick! It wasn't really scary but just entertaining. You should also check out Identity. Is it out yet on DVD? I dunno...but THAT is one creepy movie!

Yes Identity is out on video and yes it is a great movie.

Lord Of The Rings The Two Towers was a good rent. So good I bought it.

What does Lord of the Rings have to do with The Ring?   Not even the same genre of film.

I will have to check out Identity.  Isn't John Cusak in that one?

They are both horror/shock flicks, Kona.

Well I went and rented Ringu for tonight. I cannot wait to get creeped out.

I watched Final Destination 2. That flick was weird. FD 2 wasn't like a horror movie. More like a thriller.

I can't stand the previews for FD 2.  It gives me the creeps.  Not sure if I can get the nerve up to watch it.  Keila, let me know what you think of Ringu.

Final Destination 2 will not creep you out Karma. Final Destination "the first one" is one of my favorite movies. the second one was not as good but held it's own. I will let you know about the movie. I was shocked that our home town video rental had it in stock.

I'm not into horror movies. I do like watching thriller movies.

Keila, let me how Ringu went & how ya like it.

I loved The Ring! I didn't like the prank my oldest son pulled on us though. He'd seen it already. We had a Ring Watching Party. When it was over, the phone rang, I answered it and this really creepy voice said "Seven Days". For a few instances I was totally freaked out and then I heard my sons laughter from the other room. Payback's a b*tch

Hope you found some coffee KG

werewolf, that is just so funny.

Ok, as for Ringu. I wold have to say that it is really not worth putting up with the subtitles to watch this. IMO, it was not any creepier at all. The story was a little different and explained things a little better but all in all, not worth the watch.
