How Come this site is not Opera friendly?

How Come this site is not Opera friendly?

I am an Opera user, and alot of the things on this site don't work with Opera, like when I open wincustomize, the pages do not render correctly, this happens alot.. And on the message boards this text box is jumping up and down-lol..Oh I could just switch to IE I suppose, but IE and I parted ways along time ago..Please help us Opera users out and make your pages standards-compliant......

Well I certainly did not expect all this just asking about Opera..lol..As was suggested to me earlier, to try a beta version, so I dl'd Opera 7.20 beta 11 and it works like a charm, pages here are rendered correctly, my apologies, however as pictoratus stated, alot of sites don't take in to account that not everyone uses IE or wants to. I believe that the internet should be open to all, no matter how you connect or what you view it with.Is that askin too much? And I don't care what browser you use, OPERA is the best..hehe

Works over here...

oh and I like Firebird but I dumped it because windowblinds doesn't skin it (Stardock Exclusion)

Even though Netscape is a memory hog I love it! I do admit though Opera is by far the best browser I have tested (although I don't use it much at the moment)

Funny, during the course of my computer bing on I start with either MSN or Netscape, then go to the one I didn't start with (MSN or Netscape), and then I turn on Juno.... why??? because.

oh and that text box jumping thing and underlineing the text also happens in Netscape... of course.

the only time I use regular old explorer is because of the Google Toolbar functions.

it is Opera friendly as far as I know, and if your having problems you might try to have Opera ident as IE...

I do not have any problems in the least running Opera here and haven't.

What is ident and how do I do it in mozilla firebird?

Ah Koasoti I hadn't actually typed in the message board in Firebird lol. It does underline it. That is odd. But it doesn't jump around.

joetheblow mentioned though that Firebird was excluded from Windowblinds skinning. I have it skinnsed just fine, scrollbars too. To be sure some parts aren't because FB skins itself, but it fits in with the theme I'm using just fine.
Glad I use the Skinbrowser or SDC usually to respond here, these underlines would drive me nuts .

Not sure about firebird, but in Opera you set the browser to be identified as IE, MZ, NS when a site requests the browser type in the settings.

dosnt seem to be an option for that

yeah. me neither. but then again I have the beta version of Opera (the free one)

Mozilla is skinned for you? But in the exclusions area for windowblinds it has Mozilla as a stardock exclusion. Am I the only one? Then again I have wb 3.51 not 4.1 and I am on Win98.

For Firebird you need to download an extension called UserAgent that will allow you to spoof what browser you are using.

Ah joetheblow, perhaps the older version of WB along with Win98 excludes Mozilla. I'm using 4.1 on XP so guess that is why mine is skinned.
