Windowblinds screen keeps popping up! Help me Lord Jesus!!

Windowblinds screen keeps popping up! Help me Lord Jesus!!

How do you get that annoying windowblinds registration screen from popping up. Everytime I re-boot my computer and almost every day it pops up when I'm in the middle of something important! I had to finally unload windowblinds when I was going something over with a client and that WB registration screen popped up. I have 2 firewalls (windows and Norton) on my computer with a popup blocker and it still comes up. It was really embarassing for me when I was trying to do business and have that annoying thing come up. It's a good way to lose potential clients and I can't afford to lose them. >

Oil: What is your occupation?

You're refusing to pay $20 to register software that you like well enough to use beyond the trial period, and then complaining that the nag screen is costing you customers? It's a two way street, bub. The kind folks at Stardock have to eat too. This is the most rediculous argument I've heard in a long time, and as a moderator here, I've heard them all.

Let me guess, you have to install Windows XP once a month because of the annoying activation bug which keeps popping up...

Is it that much trouble to click the mouse button 1 time and never have to worry about the message showing up again until you restart your computer? How many times do you shutdown/restart where a single click of a mouse button becomes troublesome?

Cavanaugh : I have 2 firewalls. The first one is the one built into WindowsXP  which is directly part of my internet connection. The second is Norton Personal Firewall 2003.

The best description I've ever read of the built-in firewall in XP was "about as useful as a chocolate teapot"

Oil : Every time I notice Your posts You are extremely annoying. And this post again proofs that. Did You ever care what shareware is ? It is not the same as freeware to give You a point... If I was Your client and noticed You didn't know such existential things about software I would run away as far as I could.

I'm registered!!

I would like to first apologize to all you kind people on here. I was doing research on that Style XP and you guys were right. It was a "trial version" I was using and I uninstalled it from my PC and registered WB4. There are a couple skins that I enjoy using on here, but Style XP had something similar, I thought was free and being cheap, I went that route. That was a mistake so I decided to register WindowBlinds and now I am happy. But I am sorry for making myself look like an idiot before. I started this thread as kind of a joke - I am deeply embarrased. I hope I didn't make too many ememies on here.

No worries, Oil2003, most people won't even remember this thread in about 5 minutes from now

Glad to hear that you registered.  I'm sure Windows looks a lot better with all its parts skinned (shareware of WB doesn't have full features).
