Multi Monitor Setups

My main PC has a two monitor set up (4k main, 2k secondary). My secondary pc has two dummy emulators that produce the same resolutions. But when I connect to the second PC I can't find an option to show both monitors.

For my work I need to view a lot of information at the same time from multiple programs (game dev, hopefully Stardock understand).

I saw a few multi monitor discussions but many were years old and I was wondering is there a way to get multi monitors working or is this a feature that simply is not in the program yet? For me, this is  a vital feature that would mean a massive amount if it doesn't exist already.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Cant find the option to view both - one at a time (that does exist) or both at the same time?

The latter does not exist yet but is being considered.

Hey Rohan, yes I can see the option to flip between the two monitors but I need to be able to view each window separately on different screens, just because of the massive amount of info I need to see at one time.

I very, very much hope that second monitor support is coming soon, because for me (I hate to say it because I am loving everything else about Multiplicity) - may be a deal breaker. I need to have two monitors of the second PC view-able.

Hi !

I have 3 PCs and 2 monitors. I have tried Multiplicity and it works like a charm except it manages only 1 of the 2 monitors. So I have decided to use physical connections instead but using a modified Mutiplicity would ease things a lot.

Thanks for reading that !

Glad I am not the only one. Multiplicity would be the perfect solution if it was capable of this.

What is the status of adding this feature?

I also have the same need. I've looked at multiple products for such a solution. Any Desk is the only other product that comes close but has other limitations that makes Multiplicity the better product (solution). Any Desk does however accomplish the multiple monitor issue by allowing multiple connections to the same secondary PC in separate independent windows which can be set to look at different monitors.  This seems to be a simple programming change to Multiplicity by allowing multiple connections.

We had seen your same post in the other thread you replied to.  No need for multiple posts.

It would appear you are new to our forums, b1n4ryk1lla5179.  Ninty+ percent of every changelog that has ever been issued by Stardock is the result of client feedback. We dont 'ignore' any of it.

NEW???? lol no we've been complaining about this linux and mac support for over 5 years... nice try you may pick and choose the easiest things not all of us want but the majority and the amount of threads locked because they are asking for the same stuff get ignored...

I cant help but be curious. What current feature or option in Multiplicity do you believe is 'easy' to implement?  If you had to pick one 'super hard' one to be included in future versions of Multiplicity, what one item would you pick?

well lets see... since you haven't touched it since 7/23 when all you did was add localization packs for various languages and fix a bug that we complained about for years constantly disconnecting over time... good job... but ALAS none of the major features most of us have been asking for for 5+ years...  in fact you haven't even updated it since then... you've made no attempt at Linux support (major #1 for me) nor Apple/OSX because you keep insisting we don't need it and there's no demand yet...there are multiple threads begging and finally switching to competitors yet you play dumb or naive to this fact and you insult us and me pretending like we are new here and don't really see what's been going on...

the ignoring of issues / QOL requests and slow patch times are also the reason i stopped using fences windowblinds and many other products from stardock...

I would ask for any links you can find where we said either of those things but that would not be fair (we have never said any such thing).

From one of your posted links, b1n4ryk1lla5179.

While your frustration is clear and palpable, it's not helped by false accusations and caustic assumptions.

There is news coming for MP...
