I was once walking down the street, I was digging in my pocket looking for a piece of gum, and while I was trying to take of the wrapper. *WHAM!*! Right into the stop sign. True story.

I used to be quite intelligent until I read the babya thread,now I have a tumor.

When I graduated hs, my test scores were in the top 10% of the nation. But that was the 70's...must've been the drugs.

Hmm....some of the tests on the internet are on a 200 scale arnt they?
Which would mean that we cant really compare scores becuase most likely there will be people that have only taken 150 scale tests, and those who took 200 scale tests....

Ive taken them both, I think on the 200 scale I got in the 180's and in the 150 scale I got in the 130's dont remember for sure tho .

i lost 20 points of IQ in 1982 while bicycling. ( drunk driver ran me down and i took the blow with my head primarily). i can still beat most people at Chess and Go, so i'm happy the damage was limited.

knowledge and IQ are 2 different things.. just as intelligence and wisdom...

What I don't understand is how someone like me have such a high IQ and misspell so many words.

I think IQ's don't say much. From what I understand it is mostly based on recall/memory knowledge of current scientific data and education.

Nothing about inter-relational abilities, artistic skill, working in teams, emotional, and other parts of what it is to be human.

Our brains abilities are able to mutli process data and combine data to form infomation, yet tests like these focus on mostly one type of processing (so do schools but lets not talk about that > )
