Is there a way to use effects without changing cursor in CursorFX?
If you mean using the effect without using any theme cursor. I don't think that is possible.

The only way to get the thing that you want would be to design a cursor that looks like the Windows cursor. They aren't too hard to make.
All files for the cursor i use are .ani and cursorFX can only open png, i found no free site online to convert it to png
