Quick-hide Fails to Hide Non-Folder Portal Icons when Dreamscapes .Dream is Active

I believe there's some conflicting functionality between Fences' "Quick-hide" and Deskscapes' "Desktop icon transparency".

If you Quick-hide Fences while a Deskscapes .dream is active, you'll see that all of the non-folder portal icons do not become hidden as they should and normally would.

If you deactivate the .dream and revert to a standard wallpaper, Quick-hide hides those same non-folder portal icons correctly.

Hello please try the purge and reinstall steps for Deskscapes. Follow this steps : https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling

Get the latest version of Deskscapes from your account. reinstall that version. Don't forget to reboot before and after the installation.

Already done.  I "purged" both Fences and Deskscapes, and again, no change.

If you deactivate the .dream and revert to a standard wallpaper, Quick-hide hides those same non-folder portal icons correctly
End of quote

Need to know what do you mean by "non-folder portal icons"? And I assume you mean all other fences hide without issue?

It best if you could provide us with a video of your problem.

Thank you,

I had the same problem and followed the same directions.  I am a new customer with a fresh windows instructions.  I found that installing new dreams caused the issue reported by the OP.  However, rebooting the pc fixed it.
