Fences 3.0.8.1 after update

Hello

 

Just updated to the new Fences 3.0.8.1, but now I get the update message all the time, saying there is an update

I have done a complete remove and re install and still getting the same problem, 

so my work around is to disable updates, but id like to have it back on

any help would be nice!

The update you are probably referring to is stated in Object Desktop Manager. Its likely because of the .1 - its being fixed but if you have 3.08, you are good.

Same problem here. Plain question: is there a way to (temporary) fix without disabling the automatic update check?

Thank you for allow me to disable your useless updates!! I absolutely hate automatic updates especially when they crash my computer.

Not sure why this feature to disable automatic updates isn't just a checkbox within the software. That would be the smartest way to allow your users to control update actions.
