Fences 3.0.7.6 is unusable.

With this update, Fences (Steam version) turns into a unusable.software. I can't add/remove icons to fences, can't create or delete fences, double click in a fences  does not work (fences aren't rolled up) and double click on a blank area of a desktop does not disappear with the icons.  Tried to reinstall it, but the problems are still there. What can I do?

I'm currently using Windows 10 PRO x64 vs 1709 build 16299.125.

SPECS: Intel Core i-7 4510u / 8GB RAM / NVIDIA Geforce 740m

Hello,

You can try this few step...

Try Purging and re-installing it.

If that do not work. Please try Fences Clean boot..

Hi, Basj.

I've tried only the first option (purge) and partially the second (clean boot, but without creating a new user account). Without sucess.  A lot of people are complaining about this problem in Fences' community page on steam.

I saw here that Fences' currently Beta Build is 3.07.5, but the version released in steam is 3.0.7.6. Is there any chance that the version submitted to STEAM is a newer beta build?

Thanks in advance!

Hello pva_br

I just updated mine few moments ago and its now also 3.0.7.6 it was 3.0.7.5 before.. And I don't have any problem. Regarding the steam version, I need to check with Stardock main when they come on today.

basj, Thank You.

Someone on Steam's Forum just suggested to do the following procedures in order to downgrade to 3.0.7.5

Do you know if it's "safe" to perform this?

Thanks again, basj!

I'm also having trouble updating to 3.0.7.6, but it looks like my Object Desktop Manager only downloads non-beta downloads.
