BUG: Desktop icon auto positioning bug

Hi,

What is happening is icons are placed as if it were a single desktop not unique to that desktop. So if you have 3 icons top left on desktop 1, and each below eachother, then move to desktop 2 and download another file to desktop it will be placed at the 4th position available which would be correct for desktop 1 not desktop 2, which has no icons on it, so top left most location is available.

How to reproduce:

  1. Multi desktop enabled.
  2. Move to screen 1
  3. Open web browser download/save an image to desktop folder
  4. Move to screen 2
  5. Open web browser download/save another image to desktop folder

Might want to look into this, I do not want desktop auto sort icons on, that's the worst feature ever created and defeats the whole point of desktop configuration tools.

I don't know if my issue is the same one you're experiencing or not, but if I have Auto-Arrange Icons turned off in Windows 10, even with Arrange Icons to Grid enabled, all my new files saved to the desktop that aren't captured by my automatic rules stack on top of each other.  This is annoying and did not happen on my previous Windows 7 installation.  If I turn on Auto-Arrange Icons, the icons do not stack, but I don't like Auto-Arrange on.  Is there a fix that doesn't require Auto Arrange being enabled?
