Anyone had this issue?

I put in a ticket for this but it is now very consistent. At a certain point in my games since 1.7, I am no longer getting Ideology events upon colonization of a planet. 

I sent in a ticket, screen shots and a save game. 

I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. This is  not a 'one time' bug (for me). This is the third game this has had this happen. I simply stop getting events and also choices to get Ideology points.

I tend to play in Large galaxies, so there aren't THAT many planets to colonize.  Are you perhaps in something immense and we're running out the list of potential events?

I've seen this problem but, only sometimes and usually it's rare and I haven't been focused enough on the issue to create a ticket on it.  However, yes it does happen.

Does this happen as a result of having gone through all the Ideological events? Or do they start over once you've had them all?

Ideological events when colonizing are one of the fun things about this game. While I know it would be more work for the devs, I'd like to see some new events added along with the current ones in future patches or expansions.

No, its kinda random when it happens. I will have one line of an ideology filled (like malevolent production line) and have say two in Pragmatic and two or three in Benevolent. For some reason, when I colonize a planet it goes no longer gives an idealogy event. It goes straight to the planet screen. 

I have even stopped and tried to colonize <not at end of turn> and still it  happens. I have reloaded and saved and still it keeps happening.

I may have seen this and thought I had just spaced out the decision or accidentally clicked too fast.  

If you can save, reload, and have it repeat, that should be a usable case for Stardock to troubleshoot.

I have Gaunts mod in. So I am going to update the patch tonight and play without Guants and see if the issue returns..

We have for a fix for this but its not in the 1.7 build yet.

I'm experiencing the same issue. Every time i colonize my 35th colony the colonization events stop working. Allready submitted a ticket with a savegame yesterday. Replicated the same thing in 2 other games today.

Pshaw, thanks. I was thinking it was a mod issue but glad to hear it is not.
