Has anyone gotten OBS to record Ashes of the Singularity in DX12?  If so, what is the secrete?

OBS currently doesen't support dx12 game capture. You can use monitor capture but the performance is really bad.

Do you have a recommendation on what game capture software to use?

Quoting Zorin1,

OBS.

in dx11 mode.

or don't record at all.

Yeah I know but when the devs themselves are asking around there is no better solution.

There is a bether solution i have buy last year Action on steam...Just another great buy and not expensive record Dx9/10/11/12  nothing miss on action i dont need nothing else.

Awsome software makes all i want and the record resolution its really what you see goes to 1080p.

Lot configurations to all kind conections and system, normaly i stream to twitch but there is more you can choose ,never got problems and last update dx 12 runs really well even when you stream or record at 1080p

I think worth the money on steam or any other place you can buy.

I was able to get ShadowPlay from Nvidia to record AotS in dx12.  But I have a problem with the mic volume when I play back the video.  There is no way for me to boost the mic so you can hardly hear my speaking.  Oh well.

Thanks for all the recommendations so far.

As of the beginning of November, Bandicam can record DX12 games.  I'm about to test it out and see it if works.

[Edit]  Works fine...  I recorded a four minute clip of me playing around versus the AI.

I used bandicam as well but the performance is not really good with the amd codec ;( only up to 1440p its working fine ;/ In 4k I had only 40-50 frames with Bandicam :(

What do you think of the win 10 recorder ? win+G to start it.

In 4k the downsample to 1080p is bad (blurry), but if you use 1080p to 1080p it's fine. I hope they will patch the filter.

I've used ShadowPlay successfully :) I ran it in all Ultra settings with dx12, 60fps @ 50Mbps.

Ye its true i use action but indeed ,the fps loss in ShadowPlay is really small and without crashes.
