Just remembered something I really loved from GCII

I almost forgot but I remember being able to drop in my own music files into the 'music' folder. Both GCII and Civ 5 had this and I typically added just the classics for this game.

(my own tastes here)

  • Mozart
  • Bach
  • Beethoven
  • Tchaikovsky
  • Grieg
  • Chopin
  • Rachmaninoff

Anyway I have a very large collection of classic music that I would love to drop in as a mod. I seem to remember the game would 'cycle' through the list as I played. This actually made the game play (for me) very nice.

I really love the score for GCIII I just remembered that adding some of my own music would be a nice touch.

Hehe. I'd probably do 80's and 90's hard rock. AC/DC, Metallica, Danger Zone, some Bon Jovi, Kiss, White Zombie, ZZ Top, Quiet Riot.

Keep me wanting to pound that turn button

Yes, I know Kenny Loggins isn't hard rock, but I love that song.

I uh, am a complete metal head. I actually listen to Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica and Pantera when riding home or driving actually always. But for GCIII the above are way more calming...
