Looking for custom faction ideas.. talking to our community..

So with the imminent release of B6 I decided to delete my previous factions as I felt they were 'all over the place. Can any of you suggest some custom faction names and ideas. I will post a couple one of which is stolen shamelessly from a member here and I cannot remember the traits he picked...

 

  • The YAR, (cant remember anything except the leader name, SFR, Scheduled for Recycling. I do know he (our member) said they were the benevolent equivalent of the YOR. I loved this idea so much i created them but would really like to give credit to the original poster.
  • Earth First, A radical group from Earth that is devoted to Science and the extermination of non humans. 
  • The Phlargums, a nasty mucus covered race out of a humans nightmare of spiders and snot. As nasty as they are slimy.

One idea that might work:

Cheela, from Robert L. Forward's Dragon's Egg. They originated on a Neutron Star, "intelligent creatures the size of a sesame seed who live, think and develop a million times faster than humans."

Maybe bonuses to Research, Growth, Miniaturization (for their size and rapid development)

A very interesting race from a very interesting book.
