Disgusted at being ripped off.
https://forums.stardock.com/456559/page/1/#3493143I bought my software from Stardock many years ago to use on my XP computers, which I still own and run 2 of, I have other PC's that run windoze 7 Ultimate on, again 2, I don't require the Stardock programs on there as they have a decent range of suite colours that don't require Windowblinds or icons from IconFX.
I used to renew Object Desktop, even had the Ultimate upgrade as it made sense to purchase that rather than odd programs, I probably lost out a little, but could try other programs in the suite. I always downloaded all and then archived them to ensure If I did need to reformat or re-install they were available, of course back then, it was My Colours, and Impulse and then Stardock Central ..... well, that was great until I wished to re-install, to be met with, oh, we sold that off ... Impulse ... use Stardock Central ..... I was unable to do so, it kept giving me mycolours2.exe on clicking the download links, I started a thread ....

A month after basically no help, they assisted another person with the same issue, yet, no help for myself!
I have tried again after Windowblinds failed, this week I have had to purchase a subscription to be able to install programs I already paid for, why? so Stardock could generate money from the sale of Impulse and with it seems Stardock Central no longer working either, neither program recognise my passwords which I recall well, I even changed the one here to ensure Stardock Central worked. I can see a list of available programs I already paid for, and it offers mycolours2.exe when you attempted to download. That's pretty poor going for programs your customers paid for, and followed advice on ensuring archiving to retrieve and re-install.
I intend hopefully in the near future to install new drives in the XP PC and do a XP Pro fresh install, yet want some of the programs I installed through Impulse, I had started to play with creating my own suites/themes with one of the software's in the packages yet after being forced to pay for a subscription I have no idea what works on XP (currently its Home version), your site is not easy to ascertain what is for what system at all. This extends to the downloading, it offers all, ie, there are win8 things in there, I know better than try. Is there a list of which software runs on which system, and the last version working on that windoze version?
You could make money you know, by selling older versions for older operating systems at discounted rates, many of us still use them. Windows 8, or even 8.1 isn't that great an os, and "10" seems to be following in that respect, designed for tablets and screen smearing, not PC's but rammed down the consumers gullets.
Fed up, brassed off and feeling ripped off down to inability to re-install paid for items.
